Home Energy Rating System (HERS)
The RESNET HERS Index is the industry standard by which a home’s energy efficiency is measured. The HERS Index home energy rating is assessed by a third party certified RESNET home energy rater (“Rater”). The lower the HERS score, the more energy efficient the home.
RADIANT BARRIER DECKING
The reflective material used in radiant barrier decking helps block heat transfer into your attic and lower your attic temperature by up to 30°F in summer months. Cooler attic makes the duct system and HVAC equipment to reach the desire indoor temperature faster and more efficiently.
LED LIGHTS
LED lights use 75% less energy than standard incandescent lights. They have a lifespan of up 50,000 hours. That’s more than 25 times longer than standard incandescent lights.
BIBS® INSULATION
Blow-In Blanket® System is fiberglass wool insulation blown into walls and attics. The dense blown-in insulation gets inside cavities and fills all the voids and gaps results in much higher R-value. All of our homes get R-44 insulation in attic and R-15 insulations for walls which exceed the code requirement of R-30 for attic and R-13 for wall insulation.
